The third time Justin hears about it, he's actually a few inches away from throwing his smartphone against a wall. He wants the app, he needs the app, but the only person who he isn't proud enough to ask for help is all but rolling over the bed, laughing. Justin ponders if he can also throw Brian against a wall.
'Brian! This is serious! this could launch my career at New York without me having to move there ! You know, there are a lot of famous people geocaching this days, one of them could know my future agent. One of them could be my agent!' Justin rants away as he tried to figure the phone.
Since he went geocaching with Daphne and Hunter he had thrown himself on the artwork for many personalized trackables and now he just wanted to launch them around the world... 'If only the fucking phone would work!'

[A/N: For the sakes of it, let's imagine that the smartphones have been around since the end of the nineties]

The second time Justin hears about it, he's already in the middle and isn't very sure how. Daphne called him and in the middle of giggles she told him they were going to the Moon ! So Justin picked the jeep, and drived to Daphne's. Now he had Daphne and Hunter (another incognito in his haze, 'the freaking kid seems to be everywhere') on the backseat while they were leaning over a gps, that he was pretty sure that Michael had borrowed from Brian 2 years earlier, to go on a trip with Dr. Dave.
When they give Justin the indication to stay on the I-376, Justin kinda wonders if Brian is worried about him, or about the jeep. It is when he's in the middle of nowhere [the gps claims it's Clinton Rd but Justin has his doubts] and Daphne is screaming orders and Hunter is rolling rocks and sticks that he feels that there's some nice spirit in the thing . In the end it's Justin who finds out the tupperware and gives it to Daphne. He's not amused when she writes his name as 'Muggle (not-so-much) Sunshine'
They don't go to the Moon instead they do a u-turn, after a call from Brian. Justin tried to walk away from Daphne and Hunter, but with no results, the screaming could be heard miles away, they were certain of that. So on the way back, Hunter and Daphne are discussing the pros and cons with Justin, even if he is surrended to the game.
'And they're now also trying to help people to take they're vaccines by making it geocaching-fun!' Justin rolled his eyes at Hunter's stupid pun. 'And Ben really approves this healthy walks and lets me get out more and doesn't make me go to the gym... so it's win-win situation'
The car falls in silence. Justin is glad that Hunter is being health thoughtful but the kid shouldn't have to worry about it.
'Besides they have this freaking cool trackables!', Hunter pipes in, while showing a pretty coin that was an work of art. Justin suddenly saw geocaching with other eyes.

The first time Justin hears about it, it's at PIFA's cafeteria. His lunch mates are laughing and planning some trip to some forsaken land. It's not even to draw or get inspired, nooo, it's about some freaking treasure hunt. Well, Justin has some better plans than get lost on the woods, like Brian and he going to Vermont, and fuck, and draw, and maybe get lost on the woods together and fuck some more, till their hearts content.
Yup, his plans sound way better than some lame hunting treasure trip.

By my schedule, 'Best I Ever Had' should be finished by now, but RL is a bitch and doesn't let me. I mean, I've been at home unemployed, without my friends around, for almost an year, so when I entered Queer as Folk fandom, it helped keeping my sanity. I spent 6 months only reading fanfiction, until one day I decided to post an oneshot, and coincidence or not, QaF fandom helped me again, because at the same time, I decided to move on and interact with more people besides my family and close friends - I decided to become a volunteer. I started helping my community, and had my time to write and read - life was almost good. To begin earning more experience, I signed myself to a formation/workshop - but they never called me... until last month, at the same time I was called to a job interview [and offered the job - which I accepted, course] . So now, I have no weekends, and all my dead times are "wasted" on reading [hey ! I've almost thirteen years to catch up!]. I have two more plot ideas that I would love to start on, but I want to have at least the next chapter of 'Best I Ever Had' written. So as soon as the mood strikes, I'll be back.

P.S: have an happy and SCARY HALLOWEEN *
